Partnership with Health Services:

CEASe, with assistance of a local physician, initiated the implementation of the Scott Memorial Hospital ER narcotics policy.  In an effort to address the potential for abuse of narcotics, the county hospital adopted a proactive policy relating to narcotic and sedation medication prescriptions written by emergency room physicians. The purpose of the new policy is to promote the safety of patients and discourage the use of narcotic and sedative medication except when necessary.

Partnership with Faith Community:

Coalition member, New Creation Addiction Ministries, is helping young men by sharing God with those who are experiencing life-controlling problems, such as drug addiction and alcoholism. Their mission is to see people transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ through intense discipleship, radical love, and a structured environment that allows the chains of bondage to be broken.

CEASe’s has at least 4 pastors attending every monthly meeting. Over the past 15 years, the ministerial association has been instrumental in preventing beer/alcohol dealer permits from being issued in stores where families shop, including Walmart, CVS, and Jay C stores.
